Small Get Together

I was thinking booking a few pegs on a lake somewhere. Or a lake if enough people are interested to book a lake, its not a social of such, but we can make it one if enough people are wondering.

Lake ideas:
Four Seasons - Lodge or Mill lake
Big Wryeside - Sunnyside 1, Sunnyside 2 or River Lake
Little Wryeside
Cranehall

Or anyother waters that people request.

four seasons aint fishing that well at the mo..unless you wanna fish the match lake that is.still too many people blanking even after a 3 day fish on the 2 main lakes im up for any of the rest?

I was thinking sunnyside 2, plenty of fish in it and a chance of a 30+

sounds good but can you book pegs and have a draw or is it starting pistol and running shoes

I'm up for a get together... Give me plenty of notice tho as I'll have to try and keep that weekend free or at worse case, nip off for an hour or so depending on the job

Can't book pegs on sunnyside 2...so its properly a matter of turning up, meeting in the carpark and sorting out then. Cranehall...I guess it does't matter which peg you fish on there.

hi guys...ok theres me,. me missus and me mate booked in at wyreside in saint michaels,for this saturday the 7th for me birthday (hinthint chuckle!) anyone fancy joining in? or bobbing in for a bit of birthday cake? god knows how there gunna keep the candles lit for that one!
ive never fished it before and unfortunately were fishing pegs 1-3 which ive heard are slow ,but its a day out!
hopefully we`ll see some of you there!

I might pop up, all depends what time we pack up and where we are fishing. Don't really know much about little wryeside, only fished it once but caught on pineapple boilies, but that was years ago before the revamp of the place. But happy brithday in advance!

Hi guys, new to the forum, but been reading it for a few weeks.

I would be interested in coming to a bit of a get together. Crane Hall would be a decent venue for a bit of a social.

Only fished on my own so far, but I have just been watching 'carp fishing - summer haze' on youtube, where basically a group of guys go on a trip to France for a friendly comp, and it has really got me interested in doing something similar (but obviously a little closer to home). For anyone who hasnt seen it, it really is a great watch.

Anyway, like I said, Id be more than happy to be part of a social if you would have me.

Sorry couldn't made it, packed up late because of the bad weather and was going out that night. How you do anyway?

all day all over the lake 1 catfish of 33lb and 1 carp 17lb came out
i ended up with an eel and a perch....oddly the water was very warm when i returned them both ?
but out of 20 people fishing only both fish came out around 5am. i didnt get there till 7..
next weekend i want to hit the pit where you are..did you say that was called wyreside too?
is this the same lake as 2 scar?
is it the same lake as your pic?
im trying to arrainge transport with me mate as i speak.
hopefully by 2moro we`ll be booking in

The one in the pic is cockerham quarry. Wryeside complex, it has 6 carp lakes.
